Msomi, an accomplished Human Resources Executive with extensive experience serving in leading FMCG companies and on various corporate boards. Drawing from his background in human capital development and organizational leadership, Mr. Msomi identified the need for a professional services firm that integrates strategic consulting with practical, high-quality training interventions to support workforce and business development.
Our Formation and Growth
The company was originally founded as Hlombe Consulting, providing HR advisory and business consulting services to both public and private sector clients. Recognizing the growing importance of structured workplace learning, the organization expanded to include a training division, offering accredited learning programs aligned with national skills development priorities.
In 2013, the organization rebranded to HLOMBE INSTITUTE, reflecting its strategic focus on education, training, and skills development. Since then, the Institute has obtained accreditation from several SETAs, ensuring that all its programs meet the highest standards of quality and compliance within the South African regulatory framework.
